Every sport demands something physically of our bodies. For golf the physical demands are muscular endurance, mobility, flexibility, stability, balance, strength and power. At The Fitness Garage, we train specifically to these physical demands that allow you to take your game to the next level.

TPI Certified Golf Fitness Assessments
Working with us one on one, all new clients begin with a golf-specific physical assessment, approximately two hours. From the assessment we will design a custom golf-specific routine that will address any limitations and identify strengths in the areas of golf’s physical demands. The Fitness Garage also provides group golf fitness assessments for club and team golf organizations.

Personalized Workouts on the Web
As a TPI certified facility, you are given priority access to the MyTPI website to review, print and send to your iPod your personalized workouts. You’re also provided a golf fitness handicap. The golf fitness handicap is very similar to a traditional golf handicap - which is a way for us to see how well you stack up to the ''ideal'' or ''scratch'' physical.

ACSM Certified Experts
Each client is evaluated for physical limitations using American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) certified standards. Once this is completed, an individualized fitness program consisting of corrective exercises, functional strength training and conditioning is developed. You will be matched with the trainer that best suits your training needs and goals.

Group Fitness

One Garage, Every Sport

At the Fitness Garage, we provide one-on-one, sports-specific training with your own personal performance coach. Get a program designed just for you, tailored around your needs and your sport. After going through the initial pre-testing session (used to help gauge a starting point and formulate a plan) we design a program that will help you reach your goals. We offer a variety of personal training programs for athletes of all ages and skill levels. Whether you are a professional athlete, college athlete, high school athlete, pre-teen athlete or a recreational athlete, we have the personal trainers and the programs that will exceed your demands.

Training Your Way

As an individual you have several options. You can sign up for one-on-one training with your individual performance coach. You can also join one of our high impact group training programs, or our goal-oriented classes. You also have the opportunity to work with one of our experts on sport-specific skill training such as: baseball, football, basketball and soccer.
